145 Alive
145 Alive takes place on the 10th of October, an event where amateurs around the world flock to the 2m band to keep it alive and enjoy some of the lesser used modes. 2m is one of the most accessible bands, so feel free to listen or join in!
New club room update
Work has begun on the fitting the Kitchen, which shall be outfitted with a full suite of appliances for making tea, mostly tea, but for making whatever sweet treats we so desire! Furthermore the next updates shall come in the form of our upcoming Blog system, so keep your eyes peeled!
HPT Open Days
Come by on the last Sunday of every month to see Amateur Radio in action, as well as the Grand Reveal of the new Spitfire exhibit in the Aircraft Museum.
The next Open Day is on the 25th October. This will be the last open day of the year before Hooton Park closes for the winter to reopen in the spring of 2026.
Radio Rallies
We can often be found at Rallies across the North-west. We also operate a stand at the annual NARSA Rally at Nobreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool.

From October 1st we are operating under winter hours, but come the summer we will return to our full opening times.
Directions
We are located at CH65 1BQ, Airfield Way, Hooton, Cheshire, Just off Junction 6 of the M53. During the day, turn in at the gate with the sign pictured below, and call the number on the next gate. This will connect you with a duty officer who will let you in. In the evenings, either call us directly or radio in. Parking is on the left between the Hangars. You can spot us by the many aerials surrounding our club building.
